The MEM-I/O-FLD64M is a 64M I/O PCMCIA Flash Disk for the Cisco 7200 Series routers.
The Cisco 7200 Series routers now support 48-MB, 64-MB, and 128-MB Flash disks on the I/O Controller cards. Flash disks, an alternative to linear Flash memory, are Flash memory-based devices that can be used as file storage media in the PCMCIA card slots of the I/O Controllers. Each I/O Controller has two PCMCIA slots and can be configured with up to 256 MB of Flash disk memory.
These large capacity Flash disks support large or multiple configuration files and Cisco IOS® Software images. Cisco IOS Software memory requirements are available on Cisco.com at:

Software Requirements:
Flash Disk is only supported on systems with the Cisco IOS filesystem feature. In general, Flash Disk functionality requires Cisco IOS release 12.0 or a later release.
For the 7200 series with an I/O Controller card the minimum supported releases for the Flash Disk are: 12.0(3)T, 12.0(5)S, 12.1(1)E, 12.1(1)T, 12.1(1), 12.2(1), 12.2(4)B
