The cornerstone of this simple Spectra 2000 library design is an integrated picker and uni-body robotic chassis. The intelligent picker increases reliability by accomplishing all required motions with only two motors. The Spectra 2000 library allows you to use leading-edge backup infrastructures, such as SAN by supporting Fiber Channel (private loop, public loop, and fabric) and SCSI-2 (Single-ended, HVD and LVD) interfaces. Spectra Logic's Virtual Control Panel (VCP) uses Java and HTML technologies to provide status, diagnostics, and remote device management capabilities - all from an Internet browser interface.
