Spectra Logic's Treefrog Spectra 2000 (750GB native, 1.95TB compressed, SCSI-2 SE/LVD SCSI tabletop external 15-slot, 1-drive AIT-2) tape library provides first class backup for enterprise servers. With standard features such as removable cartridge packs and drive modules, the Spectra 2000 is an affordable automation solution offering a host of high-end features.

Configured with 15 or 30 cartridges and one or two Sony AIT drives, Spectra 2000 libraries are available in SCSI-2 models (Single-ended, HVD and LVD), Fibre Channel (supporting private loop, public loop and fabric topologies), 100BaseTX and Gigabit Ethernet. The Spectra 2000 is fully upgradable to scale with industry as interface and AIT technologies evolve.

Each 2000 series library comes with Spectra Logic’s Virtual Control Panel software, which employs Java and HTML technologies to provide status, diagnostics and remote device management capabilities. Accessible via an Internet browser interface, the Virtual Control Panel allows administrators to initiate robotic and drive diagnostics, move tapes, upgrade a library’s firmware and view Application Notes from Spectra Logic’s support Website.
