The Linksys Wireless-G Access Point lets you connect Wireless-G (802.11g) or Wireless-B (802.11b) devices to your wired network so you can add PCs to the network with no cabling hassle. Power over Ethernet support makes it easy to install - you can mount the Access Point anywhere, even without ready access to a power plug.

With appropriate Power Over Ethernet support at the other end, you only need to run one cable to the Access Point to deliver both data and power. It's also perfect for use as a bridge, a kind of "cable-less cable" to connect remote areas together. Maybe Shipping is all the way across the warehouse from Receiving. Or maybe you want to set up a home office in your detached garage.
