The Gigabit Ethernet Option (GEO) for Overland NEO SERIES libraries offers the ability to transform your SCSI library into a network enabled addressable device. Utilizing Gigabit Ethernet technology, one of the world's most widely accepted means of transporting data, the GEO card supports both NDMP and iSCSI (in a subsequent release) protocols, maximizing application, system and network configuration flexibility and support, and making it ideal for both SAN and NAS environments.

The GEO card enables users to leverage their current Ethernet network while providing investment protection, application support, hardware architecture, and configuration/management/ monitoring advantages. The GEO card is also designed to support an iSCSI interface (in a subsequent release), providing users with high-speed, low-cost, long-distance advantages in their existing Ethernet infrastructures.
