This 10/100Base-T to 100Base-FX bridging media converter is a new revision of the J/E-PSW-FX-01 offered previously by Transition. While maintaining the Auto-Negotiation feature, this latest release also offers the ability to disable Auto-Negotiation and force the copper port to 10Mbps or 100Mbps and to force both the copper and fiber ports to full or half duplex. Feature enhancements include the addition of AutoCross, which eliminates the user intervention needed to choose the correct MDI/MDI-X button setting for the installation. While offering the same copper to fiber conversion, the new version also has the addition of a rugged metal enclosure and the ability to be mounted into Transition's rack mount shelf.

This model features 10/100Base-T (RJ45) to 100Base-FX 1310nm single-mode fiber ST (20KM) connectivity.
