This SupportSuite Premium Solution Pak offers 2-years of 5x9 Onsite Service (OSS) and coverage for your Magnum 224 Tape Library. Exabyte leverages its tape backup and storage expertise and the geographic coverage of the world's largest independent service provider, IBM Global Services. Exabyte's investment in training and local parts stocking ensures the highest quality of support. This service agreement covers all repair expenses including troubleshooting, parts and labor.

This contract is available within the first year of hardware purchase only. It provides serves as a warranty uplift, providing a 2 year extension of the standard 1-year warranty. The customer gets a total of 3 years of coverage from the date of hardware purchase.

This OSS service is provided in an effort to keep the product in, or return the product to, good working order. Exabyte shall, at its option, repair or replace the product identified, including spare parts. OSS does not assure uninterrupted operation of the customer's product or guarantee that the product can be returned to good working order. OSS includes remedial and preventive maintenance, based upon the specific product. OSS includes lubrication, adjustments and the replacement of defective parts.

This service may be performed during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 local time, excluding Exabyte holidays. OSS does not cover accessories or consumable parts and supplies, missing parts or those items identified by the manufacturer as being the customer's responsibility, nor does it cover product installation, relocation services, systems engineering services, programming, reinstallation of the customer's operating system or application software, firmware or code updates or operational procedures of any sort. The customer shall provide Exabyte with full and free access to the product to allow Exabyte to perform OSS. Technical Support is available 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. MST.
