The COOLPIX S230 offers a fun new approach to intuitive operation using its new 3-in. touch panel LCD for most shooting and playback functions.
Touch controls add a new dimension of fun to viewing images on the amazing 3-in. touch panel LCD, from selecting thumbnail images with your fi ngers to scrolling through fullsize images. You can also use the Paint Function to personalize your images by adding colorful borders and stamps, or by writing on the screen with the supplied stylus.
Nikon’s Scene Auto Selector provides carefree shooting in a variety of situations by recognizing the setting and automatically selecting the appropriate scene mode.
Smile Mode helps you faithfully record precious moments by automatically releasing the shutter when your subject smiles. The new Blink Proof function automatically shoots two sequential frames and saves the shot in which the subject’s eyes are more open-wide.
