The best of breed GlobalView Mail Reputation Service from Commtouch enables 3Com Unified Security Platforms to provide industry leading protection against existing, new and evolving threats.

The Anti-Spam Filter Service enables all subscribing 3Com X5 devices to have access to a constantly updating rating list for email sources on the internet.

Providing pre-emptive protection against attacks, the service filters around 80% of all SMTP Spam email at the entry point to the network, with the industry's lowest rate of false positives.

The source of each inbound email is compared to a constantly updating rating list, to determine if the email is spam. It filters the majority of email borne viruses, worms and trojans before they enter the network, increasing overall organizational security. The Dynamic IP reputation services detects changes of behavior of email sending devices in real time, helping protect.
