The PowerDsine 8006 High Power over Ethernet (HighPoE) midspan connects to an existing Ethernet infrastructure via standard Category 5 unshielded twisted-pair and shielded cabling. This power injector can power terminals with power consumption higher than 12.95W (which is defined as the maximum by the IEEE 802.3af standard), such as Pan, Tilt, Zoom (PTZ) Network Cameras, high-end color touch screen IP phones and dual band/outdoors wireless LAN access points.
