USB SmartFloppy Drive (TAA Compliant) - USB-FD-01

The Microtech USB SmartFloppy Drive gives users the flexibility and speed to transfer images and data from 3.5" floppy disks to their computer. The drive itself can transfer up to 500KB/sec while the USB connector can transfer 12Mb/sec. This affordable option is designed to easily add floppy disk drive function to an Apple iMac, iBook, G3, G4 or PC with an available USB port. It works with both high density and double density disks. Holding up to 1.44MB of data, floppy disks can be used for easy digital image and data transfer, software installation, file backup and much more.

Included with this package, at no additional charge, are 11 interchangeable color inserts that allow you to customize the look of your drive to match your mood, your decor or your computer. Plus, the SmartFloppy comes with QBeo PhotoGenetics (Mac and PC) software for digital photo improvement and Voyager PhotoFolio 2.01 for Mac, allowing anyone to create and share multimedia content quickly and effortlessly without any programming.
