Supermicro 1U IPMI Controller - AOC-1UIPMI-B

The AOC-1UIPMI-B is an add-on card for the H8S/2167 Baseboard Management Controller and has a dedicated slot for a third LAN controller card. It shares the LAN controller with the main board, uses out-of-band bandwidth and supports hardware monitor for: CPU / system temperature, system fan and CPU fan status, and system voltage. It also supports remote management when the system is dead or in power
standby, and Event Log information for hardware monitor events.

It offers remote power control through the OS; shutdown, reboot and power cycle. Or you can Control it directly through buttons on chassis; reset, power down, power up, and power cycle. It supports SNMP trap (multiple destinations) and offers console redirection (text only) through LAN. It is O/S independent.
