PrimeArray's ServStation provides cost-effective, unsurpassed performance for cross platform CD-ROM sharing on NT, NetWare, Apple and UNIX networks. ServStation is the powerful alternative to clumsy jukeboxes and expensive CD towers, giving your users a single point of access to multiple discs. Multiple users can even access the same disc simultaneously. ServStation functions by imaging CD content onto high-capacity internal hard drives. The equivalent of approximately 80 CD images can be stored using the built-in reader, or loaded remotely from any PC workstation. It records CD-R discs from anywhere on the network and displays CD-ROMs as subdirectories under a single volume; no need to map multiple drive letters. The ServStation's enhanced thin server shares these disc images over a 10/100 Ethernet network. It prepares and mounts discs automatically; users can access titles with point-and-click simplicity. The flash memory allows remote software updates over the network. ServStation delivers all the benefits and convenience of NAS. It plugs directly into your network, configures in minutes and can be managed from anywhere on the network with your web browser. There is no software to install on users' workstations, no changes that need to be made to your servers, no downtime on your network - no hassles!
