The serial converter cable supports modems, label writers, card readers, barcode readers, Palm devices, and security systems.

System Requirements	Winterm 3000 Series customers must have firmware version 3.5.1 (service pack 2) or later to take advantage of these peripherals, as well as the Converter Cables add-on firmware, which can be downloaded via wyse.com. Winterm 1200LE customers must have “Blazer” firmware version 4.0., and Winterm 8000 Series customers do not need to change or upgrade their units to take advantage of this converter cable.
