    The QLogic 8 Gb Intelligent Pass-thru Module provides a fully interoperable solution for seamless integration of the Fibre Channel initiators to an existing fabric. The pass-thru module provides open, standards-based NPIV interface in IBM BladeCenter; it helps simplify SAN interoperability and scalability. Changes to the fabric are not required as fabric interoperability and the management of the fabric remain in the core of the existing SAN.
