Coverage provides service that includes product delivery or shipment prepaid to the nearest authorized service depot - accompanied by the proof of purchase in the form of a sales slip. The name and location of the service depot can be obtained by either calling Brother's toll-free customer support hotline or by viewing Brother's website. This service extension must be purchased while the unit is still within the standard warranty period and must be registered with Brother to activate the extension. The warranty upgrade starts at the date of purchase.
