This VHF wireless lapel mic kit also provides a second wireless channel for all AmpliVox 'SW' model lecterns and sound systems. This kit gives you everything you need to expand your speaking platform. State-of-the-art wireless electronics help ensure a consistent signal and dependable performance. It includes the S2030 lapel mic.

The S1600 has two switch selectable radio channels to choose from. All wireless devices of any type are subject to interference caused whenever a receiver can 'hear' more than one transmitter broadcasting on the same frequency. This 'jamming' effect can sound like a howl or squeal, distortion of the mic signal, or even no sound at all coming from the receiver. Should this occur on a single-frequency system, you're simply 'out of luck' until the interfering transmitter stops broadcasting or moves out of range. When using the S1600, you simply set the A/B switch on both the transmitter and receiver to their opposite position. The chance of both frequencies being simultaneously interfered with by two outside transmitters is extremely small. This is great insurance to have that your presentation will go smoothly!

This lapel mic kit is ideal for LCD projectors, computer presentations, slide shows or presentations using visual aids. Although it is supplied with a lapel mic, it accommodates virtually any standard microphone with a 3.5mm jack. Wireless freedom allows you to freely roam the speaker’s platform into the audience or anywhere up to 300 feet away.
