The ColorBurst Edition of the Epson Stylus Pro 7880 comes with custom-designed PostScript Language Level 3 Compatible RIP from ColorBurst. It is SWOP certified for the Epson proofing media line when using supplied SWOP printing environment, and it's PANTONE licensed to include coated and uncoated libraries. It is truly professional color management technology, including separate input ICC profiles for RGB, CMYK, and grayscale images.
The 24-inch Epson Stylus Pro 7880 professional wide-format printer incorporates forward-thinking designs, with a newly enhanced 8-color UltraChrome ink technology, resulting in a final print of uncompromising quality. Epson UltraChrome K3 ink is the standard by which all other professional level ink technologies are judged. Now enhanced with Epson's breakthrough Vivid Magenta pigments, their newest-generation ink technology requires only eight colors, including a three-level black technology, to significantly raise the quality levels for professional color and black-and-white prints. Plus, with an even higher level of ink droplet accuracy, Epson's developed a MicroPiezo AMC print head, along with an ink repelling coating technology to dramatically reduce nozzle clogging. And, when combined with Epson AccuPhoto HD screening technology, at an astonishing resolution of 2880 x 1440 dpi, Epson has once again raised the level of image quality.
Capable of handling virtually any media type, in roll or cut-sheet, up to 24-inch, the Stylus Pro 7880 sets the standard for professional media use.
