CPI Rack Systems support network and telecommunications equipment. This Vertical Power Strip allows multiple pieces of equipment to share a single power connection. It attaches to the rear of the rack to save rack-mount spaces for equipment. Several power strips can be attached to a rack by using optional Offset Mounting Brackets to supply multiple circuits in support of redundant power.
Integrated surge-protection provides additional power protection. Surge protection blocks excessive voltage from equipment. Both features are critical with unconditioned line power. A built-in circuit breaker limits the amount of current available to the equipment, while the built-in current meter has a digital display that shows the amount of current that is being used by equipment. This feature assists with power management by allowing the user to judge the remaining capacity on the power strip before adding a new device to the circuit.
