16-Port Modular Fiber Switch - LE1416A
This is a 16-Port Modular Fiber Switch.
The Modular Fiber Switches feature store-and-forward switching on all ports. They read each complete data packet into an internal buffer, temporarily storing it and checking it against the individual switch’s internal address list. The entire packet undergoes an error-checking procedure to validate its integrity. Once verified, the packet is then forwarded from the buffer to the appropriate destination device. And because faulty packets are filtered out, traffic congestion is minimized.
