The Cables To Go Port Authority USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Hub has four ports that will connect to either USB 2.0 Hi-Speed or USB 1.1 peripheral devices. Add multiple high-performance USB 2.0 peripherals to your PC or Mac. The USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Hub is fully compliant with USB 2.0 specifications and permits you to daisy-chain up to a maximum of 127 USB devices to your PC. With its increased bandwidth of 480Mbps (exceeding that of IEEE 1394 Firewire with 400Mbps), the hub will allow you to connect devices that consume a great deal of bandwidth, such as external storage devices, scanners, printers, DVD drives, CD-RW drives and digital cameras/camcorders to your computer.

In addition to the 4-Port hub, you also get a hi-speed 2-Port USB 2.0 PC notebook card. It allows you to download and edit your digital pictures, MP3s and video streams. Easily add two USB 2.0 ports to your PC or MacIntosh notebook computer. The Port Authority USB 2.0 Notebook Card is a 32-bit PCCard with dual 480Mbps USB 2.0 ports. Each port handles up to 480Mbps, which are fully hot-swappable and daisy-chainable up to 127 devices.
