The Toshiba KV-KLR4-120 4-channel Digital Video Recorder with 120GB HDD combines a 4-channel multiplexer with a DVR (digital video recorder). Easy to set-up and operate, the KV-KLR4-120 allows full-screen or simultaneous viewing of up to four cameras, and is especially suited to small- to medium-scale surveillance systems involving round-the-clock security applications.

The Toshiba KV-KLR4-120 utilizes MJPEG compression with a maximum recording resolution of 640 x 480 effective pixels at up to 30 fps (frames per second). This unit comes with a pre-installed 120GB HDD (hard disk drive), and a CD-RW drive for use in either permanent storage of video, or for quick distribution of video to security or law enforcement personnel. The KV-KLR4-120 features full multiplexer operation that allows you to consolidate signals from up to 4 separate cameras, digital watermarking and multiple security levels, pre-alarm image recording with video indexes for easy searching, and detailed system log files. This unit also features continuous, motion detection, and alarm recording modes.

The KV-KLR4-120 is compatible with both the NTSC and PAL TV system formats, and features PTZ (pan/tilt/zoom) controls and a 10/100 base-T Ethernet connection that allows remote configuration of DVR as well as live and recorded video viewing. Multi-voltage compatible, this unit runs on 100- to 240-volts of AC power and includes an automatic restart with resumption of recording after a power interruption, as well as supporting remote control capabilities through RS422/RS485 connections.
