Use Cables to Go's LANtest Network/Modular Cable Test Kit to read the actual wiring configuration for Cat5, coaxial and modular telephone cables by comparing one transmitting end to another receiving end. Cabling faults such as discontinuity, open wires, shorts, miswiring and crossed pairs are crystal clear with the LANtest’s LED display. Perform all the above tests on installed cables with the included remote terminator. It can test the correct pin configuration of 10Base-T 10Basc-2 Thin Ethernet cables, RJ45/RJ11 modular cables 356A, TIA-568A/568B and Token Ring cables, etc. With the remote kit, it can remotely test cable up to 1000ft away, on either a wall plate or patch panel. It can also test the grounding. The LANtest Network/Modular Cable Test Kit features auto or manual scan for pin-out indicators and a power switch is provided for saving battery power. It includes the necessary adapters and a carrying bag and comes with a lifetime warranty.
