    All HP Support Pack SKUs must be keyed as an SD Doc type.

    Enter the customers e-mail addresses in the CMD 14 notes. This is necessary for Process Control to process the order so that your customer will obtain the packet of instructions for completing the registration process.

    Other data you may need to collect are as follows:

    If the customer is purchasing the Support Pack subsequent to the associated hardware purchase, you must capture the MODEL NUMBER of the unit to be covered and enter in the comments field.

    The equipment to be covered by the Support Pack must still be under the ORIGINAL HP warranty. We can sell a plan up to the last day of the original warranty (this does not include post warranty packs).

    These warranties take effect from the original purchase date of the associated hardware.

    The customer can expect the product in 3-5 business days from the ship date of the associated hardware.

    Once the order is placed, Process Control will send the customer a Thank-you e-mail with instructions on where to get their documentation of the warranty and how to register their service pack.

    These are non-returnable warranty packs. Review all exceptions with your CSA, cc: Process Control. A credit will be given only if HP has authorized credit to PCC. If a credit is warranted it will need to be manually processed by Process Control.
    This 3-Year HP Care Pack Same Business Day On-site Service can be added to the MSA1500 CS ProLiant Smart Array Cluster Storage. Coverage includes remote problem diagnosis and support - HP Services uses electronic remote support tools to isolate your problem and facilitate resolution. For issues that cannot be resolved remotely, an authorized HP Services representative arrives at your site within 4 hours after your call has been logged, if this time falls within your contracted service window. HP Services returns your covered hardware to operational condition, repairing or replacing components or entire units as necessary. Your coverage includes all required parts and materials.

    Service is available during HP's extended business hours, standard business days from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Established escalation procedures enlist specialized expertise from HP and selected third-parties.
