HP StorageWorks 8/20q Fibre Channel Switch - AK242A#ABA
The HP StorageWorks 8/20q Fibre Channel Switch makes installing your first SAN (or your hundredth) easy by automating every aspect of setup and configuration. An 8Gb 20 port capable Fibre Channel Switch offered in an upgradeable 16-port model, it comes with hot-swappable 8Gb SFP+ optical interface modules, Non-Disruptive Code Load and Activation (NDCLA) and Non-Disruptive Port License Activation. The included Simple SAN Connection Manager software enables wizard-based configuration and provisioning of the MSA2000fc using the same simple user interface for the MSA and EVA families of disk arrays. A single interface simplifies SAN configuration by removing the requirement to learn multiple GUI’s. The wizard makes storage provisioning as easy as 1-2-3. For more advanced tasks, now launch MSA/EVA device management applications directly from Simple SAN Connection Manager as the centralized interface.
