This IBM Ultra Density Enterprise Power Distribution Unit makes it quick and simple to deploy, protect and manage your high-availability IBM System x and BladeCenter rack environment. This solution includes (9) IEC-320-C19 (16 A) and (3) IEC-320-C13 (10 A) receptacles with three-phase, 60A power. The PDU+ model combines receptacle density with advanced intelligent power management capabilities to seamlessly integrate with IBM Active Energy Manager. This unit moves beyond monitoring solely the incoming power of the PDU -- it can reach down to each individual load segment to monitor the status of your mission critical equipment.

The IBM Ultra Density Enterprise PDU can be used separately or in combination with other IBM System x and BladeCenter PDUs to provide from a few outlets up to a full rack, scaling as required or as business needs change to support even greater power densities.

The Ultra Density PDU+ Model 7176-3MU is designed with (9) IEC-320-C19 (16 A) receptacles on the front and (3) IEC-320-C13 (10 A) on the rear panel. This Intelligent Power Distribution Unit (PDU+) is engineered to help measure and monitor energy in your IBM System x and BladeCenter Rack environment by collecting energy usage information on attached rack-mount products, and reporting the information to IBM Systems Director Active Energy Manager V3.1.
