If you’re a mobile professional using a Palm PDA or Pocket PC with an SDIO slot for an application requiring extensive data entry, the Secure Digital Scan Card (SDSC) 3P offers an aggressive solution for entering bar code data into mobile computers quickly, easily and accurately.
It is equipped with a powerful Class 2 laser bar code scanning engine, and is able to handle large volume and high speed scanning. Its use of state-of-the-art laser technology allows superior working range on high and medium density bar codes, as well as bar codes that are damaged or of poor quality. It efficiently scans curved or reflective surfaces such as glass and Mylar and operates in a variety of lighting conditions ranging from a dimly lit warehouse to bright outdoor sunlight.
The unit draws power straight from the mobile computer it’s plugged into and requires no additional batteries or power adapters. You get automatic decoding of the most popular bar code symbologies used today. You also get SocketScan keyboard emulation software, which sends scanned data directly into any Windows or Palm application as virtual keystrokes, so no custom programming is required to use the product.
