22M AME 8MM data cartridge for Mammoth/M2/LT - 313769

This 22M AME 8MM data cartridge features a 2.5GB (5GB compressed) capacity.

Formulated specifically for Exabyte Mammoth tape drives, Advanced Metal Evaporated (AME) tape offers expanded recording capacity and low abrasivity, reducing mechanical wear.

AME magnetic material is vertically aligned. This unique orientation combined with the absence of binder components on the media enables AME's higher capacity and superior signal strength. AME's specially formulated backcoating dramatically reduces the buildup of static electricity and debris to significantly reduce the possibility of read/write errors. A lifetime warranty puts AME a step above the competition.
