This unit is part of the Digi AccelePort C/X system, the most widely used cluster system in the world. This unit is a port concentrator box that has (8) RJ-45 ports and supports EIA-232 or EIA-422 synchronous modems, DSUs/CSUs, FRADS and ISDN terminal adapters for remotely placed boxes. It has a full panel diagnostic display and SurgeBlock surge protection is on all of the EIA-232 serial ports. The unit is also rack-mountable. The unit ships with drivers for Windows NT, Novell, SCO (SMP support), UnixWare 2.x and 7, AIX with AIX solutions only.
