The KV-S2046C departmental color scanner provides you superior durability with advanced image processing, all at a compact size and price. Revolutionary in design, with superb paper handling and a small footprint, this scanner is an ideal desktop solution for file management and critical image processing applications. The scanner's feeding rollers are capable of providing reliable processing of irregular paper sizes and weights from 10.7 lbs. to 33.9 lbs. and support for non-carbon paper. The scanner's clamshell design simplifies maintenance, allowing quick and easy access to consumables.
You'll benefit from full color duplex scanning, Dynamic Threshold Technology, an RTIV Reliable Throughput Imaging Viewer and enhanced features that produce professional results. With Color Automatic Cropping, documents of various sizes can be scanned in one batch without having to configure individual paper size settings - it captures only the size of the document and not excess image data, helping to eliminate unnecessary file sizes. With Color Automatic De-Skew, mistakes are corrected when you scan an imperfect original through the automatic document feeder. Color Drop Out technology enables red, green and blue colors to be dropped out to allow the scanned images and data to be presented more clearly for use in OCR and other data capture applications.
