4GB PC2-5300 DDR2 667MHz fully buffered SDRAM, expandable to 32GB.
There are eight (8) 240-pin DIMM Slots. Two are occupied by removable 2GB modules, the others are available. To achieve maximum memory, the original chips MUST be replaced.
All DIMMs must be PC2-5300 Fully Buffered DIMMs running at 667MHz
Both DIMM slots in a memory bank must be populated.
Banks must be populated in sequential alphabetic order, starting with bank A.
Both DIMMs in a memory bank must be identical. Install identical DIMMs as pairs only, starting with DIMM socket 1, bank A.
Multiple advanced memory protection (AMP) modes are supported, based on FBDIMM population and RBSU selection. The server blade defaults to Advanced ECC.
