A collaboration enabler between customers, partners, and suppliers, the RSS 2000 server captures and extends valuable intellectual capital throughout an organization.

Utilizing the RSS 2000 server with H.323 standards-based video endpoints, individuals can quickly and easily record video conferences, lectures, training sessions, personal video messages, data and more. To ensure high video, audio, and content quality, the RSS 2000 server leverages the Polycom UltimateHD experience using high definition H.264 video compression and Siren 22 stereo. Additionally, the Polycom HDX series high definition video endpoints and the Polycom RMX 2000 high definition conferencing platform provide
integrated one-touch RSS 2000 recording capabilities.

The RSS 2000 server can stream events in real-time to individuals, remote users or archive recordings for on demand playback from the Web or from a video endpoint. Options for playback include the Polycom Video Media Center (VMC 1000), a robust video content management system which allows content to be precisely tracked and achieve greater streaming scalability. With the RSS 2000 recording and streaming server, Polycom empowers organizations to boost productivity and gain operational and cost efficiencies by better communicating and collaborating with customers, partners, and suppliers.
