The Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3120X is engineered with unique technologies specifically designed to meet the rigors of the blade server infrastructure. The switch stacking technology takes the individual physical switches within a rack (up to nine) and treats them as one logical switch. It uses CiscoWorks Software that includes multilayer feature configurations such as routing protocols, ACLs, and QoS parameters. It supports both Embedded Events Manager (EEM) and Generic On-line Diagnostics (GOLD), as well as Cisco Network Assistant.
