Backup Exec for Windows SBS delivers complete protection of Microsoft Exchange Server and SharePoint Services. Continuous disk-based data protection eliminates backup windows, improves reliability, and delivers web-based file retrieval functionality. Functionality now includes protection for open files, desktops and laptops and enhanced data security through encryption. "Wizard" guided operations offer easy deployment, use, and management.
New or enhanced features in Version 11d include protection for open files, protection for desktops and laptops, enhanced data security with encryption, and support for 64-bit environments for improved performance. Plus, you can now recover critical Exchange data in seconds.
Please note: backup and restore services for Microsoft SQL Server are available with Backup Exec 11d for Windows Small Business Server Premium Edition (sold separately). The SQL Server agent is not included with the Standard Edition.
