USB to Parallel Bidirectional PC Adapter - GUC1284B
The ATEN USB-Parallel adapter uses a USB type B receptacle for connection to the USB port and IEEE parallel connection to the printer. The USB Parallel Adapter draws power from the USB port, so no external power supply is required. The adapter is fully bidirectional to ensure compatability with today's latest printers. It provides (1) upstream USB port, B-type connector for standard USB cable connection, and (1) downstream 36-pin Centronics parallel connector. It is fully compliant with USB Spec. Ver. 1.1 and supports standard PC parallel port register based operation. You can support multiple printers with multiple parallel adapters. The USB-parallel adapter has a maximum thoughput: 1.2 Mbits/Sec (ECP Mode). It ships with Mac OS driver support.
