The HP Rack 10000 G2 Series is a universal rack compatible with all HP rack mounted products including ProLiant, BladeSystems, Integrity, NonStop, HP 9000 and Alpha servers as well as StorageWorks products. This effort simplifies the HP rack product line by consolidating all previous rack offerings into a single universal rack for all HP server and storage platforms.
The 10000 G2 Series racks also offer many improvements over the 10000 Series racks: front door with updated design; front and rear door handles and lock bars for improved security; Side panels come in three parts for easier manageability and mounting; cable management accessories; improved configure-to-order (CTO) pallet with offload metal ramp included; improved mounting of stabilization feet with expanded offering to include regular and heavy-duty stabilization feet; expanded offering of rack configurations including this 42U rack with rear extension kit included, mounted on a shock pallet for CTO; rack tie-down kit and grounding kit.
