This port 64-bit PCI host adapter provides 3 FireWire 800 (1394b) ports for multiple 1394b and 1394a (a 9-6 or 9-4 FireWire cable required) device connections with data transfer rates up to 800 Mbps. A built-in 4-pin power connector can be used to receive extra power from system. This adapter works with Mac and PC and supports various types of FireWire 800 (1394b) and 1394a devices including portable hard disks, DV camcorders, digital cameras, and CD-RW/DVD-ROM drives.
