In only 4U of rack space, the Spectra 10000 library uses BullFrog architecture to offer a reliable, cost-effective and scalable tape storage solution for data centers of all sizes. BullFrog architecture allows the library to be configured with 20-40 cartridges and up to four drives. It supports SE/LVD, HVD and Fibre channel interfaces, making it adaptable to your growing storage needs. This Fibre Channel rackmount model is configured with two AIT-2 drives and 40 cartridges slots, giving it a storage capacity of 2.0TB (5.2TB with 2.6:1 compression). Each AIT-2 drive offers a native transfer rate of 43.2GB/hour (112.3GB compressed) and an average robotic access time of less than 10 seconds. Speaking of the robotics, they are rated to exceed 1.5 million mean cycles between failure. The library features an LCD touchscreen interface for simple and intuitive configurations and diagnostics. It comes with a three-year warranty.
