This APC Metered Rack Power Distribution Unit (PDU) can provide advanced warning to protect against unplanned power overloads. You can set user-defined alarm thresholds to mitigate risk with real-time local and remote alerts of potential unexpected circuit overloads to your mission critical equipment.

The metered rack PDU gives you power utilization trends which allow you to make informed decisions on right sizing IT environments to lower total cost of ownership. You can access and configure the metered rack PDU through secure Web, SNMP or Telnet interfaces. This is complimented by APC Centralized Management platforms using InfraStruXure Manager, InfraStruXure Central, Capacity Manager and Change Manager.
