The MIL-SM24004TG is a managed 24-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with auto-sensing 10/100/1000 ports plus four Combo Small-Form-Pluggable (SFP) ports. The Combo SFP ports enables fiber connectivity through four hot-swappable Small Form-factor Pluggable gigabit interfaces. The MIL-SM24004TG offers high performance at an attractive price. It supports L2/L4 Gigabit Switching performance and eliminates network bottlenecks with wire-speed switching fabric. It also offers feature rich software to manage and secure the entire network communication. In addition, the 1U rack-mount form factor uses less rack space and provides a lower per-port cost than comparable Gigabit Ethernet switches.

Robust security features include IEEE 802.1x port-based authentication and access control lists, ensuring that only authorized users can access your network. Secure management of the switches is available through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for the Web GUI and Secured Shell (SSHv2) and TACACS+ for command-line or Telnet sessions. For enterprise or workgroup deployments in cost-sensitive organizations, the flexibility mixing copper/fiber connectivity and Gigabit capability, MiLAN's MIL-SM24004TG Gigabit Ethernet Multi-Layer management switch delivers the ideal network core solution. In core network environments, wire-speed performance with full QoS control for all interfaces is critical.
