Designed with the latest in mobile technology, the totally new LifeBook E8010 notebook delivers outstanding performance. The available best-of-class ATI Mobility RADEON 9700 delivers the smoothest graphics and the best cinematic visuals you'll ever experience. Its flexible design allows you to custom configure the system to exactly the way you like it. This model is configured with a 1.7GHz Pentium M 735 processor, a 2MB L2 cache, a 60GB ATA/100 hard drive and 512MB PC2700 DDR SDRAM, expandable to 2GB. In addition to the 400MHz front bus speed, this LifeBook contains two Type II CardBus slots that can accommodate one Type III card, an embedded SmartCard reader and a 24x10x24x8 (max. speeds) CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive. The combo drive is housed in the modular bay and can be hot-swapped for optional drive modules or warm-swapped for an optional second battery module. For your communications needs, it features a 56K V.90 modem, a Gigabit Ethernet and Intel Pro 802.11b/g wireless. The ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 graphics with 64MB video memory delivers super visuals, supporting resolutions up to 1400 x 1050 on the 15" TFT display and up to 1600 x 1200 on an external monitor, both in 16 million colors. You'll love the sound from the Sigmatel AC 9767 audio chip with full duplex stereo. The E8010 comes with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack, an AC adapter, an 87-key keyboard with touchpad and a full suite of software. Windows XP Professional Edition is pre-installed.
