ProLiant Storage System UE Tower - 348710-002

The ProLiant Storage System Model UE has a 4U height, providing 25% greater storage density than the original ProLiant Storage System Rack model. The ProLiant Storage System Tower Model UE supports up to 12 (1") or 8 (1.6") hot-pluggable Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 hard drives on a single SCSI bus (also supports Fast-Wide SCSI-2 and Fast SCSI-2). The ProLiant Storage System Model UE can support up to 145.6 GB of storage, using 18.2GB disk drives. This Storage system unit includes hot-pluggable, redundant cooling fans and support for an optional redundant, hot-pluggable power supply. SCSI ID is automatically set when a drive is inserted into a drive bay. Front panel LEDs indicate drive activity, when a drive requires service, and when power is on or off giving a quick visual assessment of overall system storage status. LED status and fault indicators for the fans and power supplies are located in the back of the enclosure. Supports RAID fault tolerance (RAID 0, 1, 4, 5) when used with the Compaq Smart Array 3200 or any one of the Compaq SMART-2 Array Controllers. It's compatible with the following Compaq servers: ProSignia 200, Proliant 400, Proliant 800, Proliant 1600, Proliant 2500, Proliant 3000.
