The local and remote units connect using standard Cat5e Ethernet cable. Perfect for use in POS, security, medical, manufacturing and traffic flow settings, the RS232EXTC5 maintains the RS-232 standard with data transfer rates of up to 57.6 Kbits/sec. You don't have to buy additional hubs or software, you just plug in and go.
