The increased performance, high power-efficiency and cost-effectiveness of this new Core 2 Duo platform makes it ideal for mainstream, high volume systems. Based on the Intel G965 chipset, the PDSBA supports one Intel Core 2 Duo processor with a 1066/800/533 MHz system bus in an LGA 775 socket. Four DIMMs provide support for up to 8GB of unbuffered DDR2-800/667/533 memory. Other impressive features include three PCI-Express x16/x4/x1 and four 32-bit legacy PCI slots, four SATA ports (3 Gb/s), ten USB 2.0 ports (six rear / four front), high-definition 7.1 channel audio, integrated Intel graphics with Windows Vista support and an Intel PCI-Express Gigabit LAN port.
