This unique, autosensing converter is a great solution for for providing a migration path from Ethernet to Fast Ethernet over fiber. While converting 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps twisted pair network segments to fiber, the dual-speed 10/100 converters automatically adapt to speed without user intervention or visits to remote locations. iMcV-LIM 10/100 series converters support multi-mode, single-mode and single-strand fiber types and popular ST, SC and MT-RJ connector types.

iMcV-LIM 10/100 series modules are easy to configure and manage with the GUI-based iView SNMP management application, or with any other SNMP application such as HP OpenView. iView software features an easy-to-use and intuitive Graphical User Interface that enables the configuring, monitoring and managing of installed media modules from a central location. Via iView network managers can receive real-time unit and port status information, as well as configure individual modules for various features and settings.

iMcV-LIM 10/100 series modules install in the following platforms: iMediaCenter, iMediaChassis and MediaChassis.
