The protocol-independent, physical layer fiber mode converters allow you to easily make the connection between two dissimilar fiber types or wavelengths - for example, to extend multi-mode switch interfaces over single-mode fiber cabling up to 100Km.

Managed media conversion enables network managers to eliminate the guesswork, avoid expensive downtime, and quickly isolate problems without visiting multiple wiring closets. Network managers can monitor copper and fiber link status information.

IMC Networks' IMcV Series of media converters satisfy the requirements of medium and large companies that must support rapidly growing fiber networking infrastructures.
