The Black Box Non-Powered Modem-Sharing Device (NPMS) shares one modem over two terminals. There’s nothing to set, just make the connection and start sharing! This data-sharing device is more than just a splitter. It gives you active port contention, draws power from the RS-232 line, is data-transparent in sync or async environments, and supports speeds up to 19.2Kbps. The Non-Powered Modem-Sharing Device works with the Extended-Distance Data Cable (EDN16C).
