Elo's 1529L touchmonitor expands the company's family of reliable, easily integrated, multifunction touch solutions. The retail-rugged 1529L includes a spill-resistant sealing, a stable tilt base that is removable or reversible for wall mounting, and built-in speakers located in the display head. Surface capacitive technology provides a transparent coating that makes the sensor resistant to scratches and abrasions. Touch performance is unaffected by everyday abuse and mishaps such as dirt, dust, condensation, liquid spills, contaminants or cleaning solutions.

This model includes a USB hub, a Magentic Stripe Reader (works with applications written for HID support), a 2 x 20 vacuum fluorescent rear-facing customer display (VFD), a biometric fingerprint recognition device, and a short stand.
