Eiconcard P92 (310-822)
    The Eiconcard P Series adapter is a high performance passive card for PCI based servers. The Eiconcard P Series adapter ideal for leased line connectivity over PPP and Frame Relay. The Eiconcard P Series are targeted for branch office LAN application servers, when low latency coupled with high frame forwarding capability is required.

    The Eiconcard P92 offers two Very High Speed Interface (VHSI) ports supporting line speeds of up to 5Mbps, while the Eiconcard P93 offers one VHSI and one integrated CSU/DSU. Its "smart cable interface" automatically detects the cable in use (V.24, V.35, X.21, V.36/RS-449, EIA-530). The Eiconcard P Series performs low-level framing while protocol stack processing (PPP and Frame Relay) is performed on the PC. The Eiconcard P Series offer a comprehensive warranty of 5 years.

    The Eiconcard P92 for Windows can be used with such Microsoft applications as the Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS) or the router built into Microsoft® Windows NT® 4.0. In addition, the Eiconcard P92 supports Microsoft SNA Server.
