The Star Micronics TUP492 is an open frame thermal kiosk printer designed for public-oriented kiosk systems, including ATM's, coupon dispensers, lottery ticket machines, and computerized information booths. The TUP492 features a patented variable-length presenter for jam-free operation and a "Document Capture" feature for a clean and litter-free environment. It features a large 8" diameter paper roll, a high-speed processor for fast graphics printing, and a Windows 95/NT driver with status monitoring. Sensors include a black mark detector for top of form, a paper end sensor to assist in keeping applications in continuous working condition, and two adjustable low paper detectors. The TUP492 is ideal for logo, graphic, and coupon printing for added security and branding purposes.
